By Carmen Cadwick on November 19th, 2007
Strong Winds Change Lives is written by author Eureka F. Collins, this story took place in her native city of Virginia Beach and Hampton Roads communities. This is a story of a woman who eagerly wanted to be a mother but doctors confirmed that there was a fifty-fifty chance of giving birth, she prayed to the God from the bottom of heart and the mother went through the rigorous In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) program and became pregnant but the child dies and on the same day her husband, a Naval Officer, receives word that he will be departing within a week for the Iraqi War on Terrorism. After a six-month operation, the husband safely returns. Within a year, the couple attempted the IVF process again and the mother becomes pregnant. Although doctors monitor her closely, she delivered a son at twenty-three weeks premature; doctors said that statistically their son would not survive. The mother asked God to remember her as He did “Hannah”. God heard their prayers and received their faith.
