Muslims Killed Christens, Destroyed Houses and Shops

Muslims attacked Christians in Gani town and in Gani Mission, many christen people got injured; their houses and shops got destroyed and killed school teacher Danyaro Bala. He is survived by a wife and 11 children. Sani Duma, Bala’s younger brother, told Compass “Religion is at the center of this attack on us and the killing of my brother,” Duma said. “The selection of only houses of Christians and their shops for destruction shows clearly that Muslims were out to force us into submitting to their hold on political leadership.” Duma said “My brother on that Saturday did not go to the polling station, as he has no interest in politics.” He also said “We are of one tribe, Hausa, the only thing that divides them and us is religion. While we in Gani Mission are Christians, they in Gani town are Muslims. Religion is therefore the prime motive behind the attack on us, as only houses of Christians were burned.”

Muslim Students Beaten Christen Students In Nigeria

A Muslim rampage in the northern state of Kano, Nigiria killed ten Christians and demolished nine churches, Muslim students of Government College-Tudun Wada Dankadai, alleged that a Christian student had made a cartoon of Islam’s prophet, Muhammad, on the wall of the school’s mosque but the Christen students said that no one saw such a cartoon there and no christen has dare to do this. An eighteen years old student at the school told Compass that he had been beaten by the Muslim students without any reason. Iliya Adamu said “I was surprised that they were beating me without telling what I did, I asked to know what was happening, and they claimed that one Christian student had gone to their mosque to draw a cartoon of Muhammad. In spite of my denying the act, they kept beating me.” Adamu told that he saw the muslims beating his Christian classmate, Sule La’azaru with the intention to kill him, Sule rushed to the principal’s office for safety. Their Muslim teachers told them to calm down but they ignored him and started throwing stones at the Christian students through the window of the principal’s office.

Hindu Extremists Forced Christians to Adopt Hindu Culture

International Christian Concern (ICC) has erudite that in Chhattisgarh state hindu extremists instigated a group of young men to hurt a Christian family for not celebrating a Hindu festival. ICC Policy Analyst for India, Jeremy Sewall, said, “India’s Hindu extremists need to get their history straight. Though they have been using it to justify attacks on Christians, their very own history shows that even their non-Christian rulers and past kingdoms embraced a very Christian idea: religious belief is not something you can force on someone else.” This event shows two things, first Hindu terrorist are trying to declare the supremacy of their religion and other is Christians who are living in India are being pressurized to adopt Hindu culture.

Old at Age 3 – A Kid’s Life Full of Challenges

Old at Age 3 is a story of a kid named Zachary who died at the age of three, this kid was one of the eleven American children who known to be living with Progeria, a rare, fatal, “rapid aging” disease that afflicts children. This is a family’s life story of Keith Moore, his wife Molly, and their 4 other kids, how they celebrate happiness, their experience in taking care for their incredibly amazingly courageous and blissful son. There was something extraordinary and attractiveness in Zachary, his life was full of struggle but he conquer the challenges with his hard to believe attitude, and in doing so inspires many who meet him. The author of old at age 3, Keith Moore wrote “It is so hard for me to put him down to sleep each night, every time I do, the thought crosses my mind that this may be the last time I see him alive. I constantly wake up at night to check on him. I always want to make sure that I take a good look at him since it seems so possible it may be the last.”

A Discussion on The Film Elizabeth: The Golden Age

Joseph Dias, general secretary of the Catholic Secular Forum (CSF), says that the film Elizabeth: The Golden Age shows the pope negatively and highlights the involvement of an entire congregation of priests and laity in plotting Elizabeth’s murder. He said “In the 21st century, when we are talking about unity irrespective of caste or creed, we have people like Shekhar Kapur not only taking us back to issues that are no longer relevant but also rubbing salt over wounds.” CBCI spokesperson Babu Joseph said “they have distorted the Catholic history of England. We do not approve or endorse it. The church has taken note of it, that they are portraying it in a bad light. We strongly disapprove of this tendency.”
